Hena loved the humans. She found there imperfections and their sinfulness delightful. She loved hearing the people ask the God's for children or a happy marriage or good luck in a war. Hena giggled softly as she watched one particular servant dance. She leaned back in the throne she had made out of clouds and grinned.

"Enjoying yourself mother?" He smirked softly, and looked down at the one who was dancing.

Hera turned with a small smile on her face and faced her son. "Hello, my child." She said warmly. She to looked at the girl dancing and looked back at him. "Oh, but of course! These humans and their petty little lives interest me so."

He watched the girl for a moment, "Mmm I suppose they can be interesting at times." He liked war time better though.

Hera looked at her son. "Are you telling me you don't watch the battles going on below me. Those are humans to, my son." She said smiling. Then she frowned.
"Have you seen your father?"

"Of course I watch mother, thats when they either become their noblest, or earn passage into the underworld." He smiled a bit and looked to his mother.
"No I haven't seen him."

She smiled at her son. "You speak to wise, son, to be the god of war." Hera said with a loving pat on the shoulder.
"Oh, well, thank you." She said through clenched teeth. She wondered what mortal he was with now, who she could punish next.

He looked down at the world and arched a brow, how did his father take to mortals so?
"I'm sorry mother."

Hera smiled, hiding the fact that some thing was wrong. "For what, dear? Don't talk nonsese." She said.
"So, how are you doing?" Hera asked Ares. She was trying to find out if he had his eye on any one.

She laughed. "Good work son." She said in a proud voice. "Have you talked to Athena latley?" Hera asked. Athena was like the perfection daughter-in-law in Hera's eyes. She was wise (the goddess of wisdom) but not as beautiful as Hera herself. "Or even Demeter, son?" She said, referring to the roman goddess.

"I haven't time to keep up with either of them, I'm sure their in their temples." He looked down the roman armies and smirked proudly.

Hear sighed and looked down as well. "Oh, son, why don't you find a nice goddess and settle down?" She asked, tired of playing games. It was like he cared more about the petty little wards the humans made with each other than any goddess' in Olympus.

"We've been over this mother, again and again. I'm not interested in love, not right now." He ran his hand through his hair.

She sighed. "But when, son? When?" Hera smiled. "I am the goddess of marraige and of birth and yet my son doesn't want to be married."
Hera shook her head. "To much like his father..."
