*Calpurnia walked amongst an escort of soldiers, a newly bought slave girl at her side*
*from the calls and shouts of traders around them Calpurnia zeroed in on a particular place, the fabrics on display were exquisite...*
*she motioned from the slave girl to approach* If you would like to pick out a fabric for a dress for dancing I don't mind...

*She looked around, and she saw a blue silk.*
What about this one for dancing?
*It was an inexpensive on, but it was beautiful. She looked at the Fabrics on display. She had never even seen such beauty in a fabric. She stayed quiet *

*She looked at the fabric, and bit her lip. *
I don't need much Ma'am..Just enough for the skirt, and I can fix a top for it, with the scrappings...
*she paused, a little wobbily, but she reached into her bag, pulling out 7 gold coins. She bit her lip.*

*Calpurnia shook her head and reclosed Constantina's hand over the coins in her palm* No no I'll get it for you...a gift...*she nodded seriously* and it is also a matron's duty to take care of those in her house's protection
*she smiled softly and looked at the fabric's length to gauge how long it actually was, listening to the seller's badly pronounced Latin as he described the pricing*

*She smiled, and nodded, as she went over to a greek merchant, speaking to him her own language, as she discussed a price for her beads. She was able to get a large bag full for 7 coins. She smiled, and thanked him in greek, taking a few steps back to Calpurina.*
Alright, I am ready
*She paused.*
Thank you/

*half to the Palace Calpurnia walked beside Constantia amiably and pointed out a few Romans she recognized in the markets*
Oh look there, that is Lady Messina...wife to a Senator, his name escapes me, and she is known from being a bit of stick in the mud of the Tiber if you know what I mean....she isn't one of my favorite house guests...but even the household isn't apart from politics
*she looked a Constantina and smiled* So, would you like to tell me alittle more about yourself Constantina?...
