*Ptolemy's only surviving loyal soldiers had been scouted by Caesar's scouts to be camped in an open space, a few miles away from Alexandria. Right away, Caesar ordered three cohorts to stay and gaurd the city, consisting of legionaries. He had sent his one skirmisher cohort, cavalry cohorts, and his remaining legionaries to face Ptolemii I. The 2,000 men were mear infantry, beggars. Caesar, his general cavalry and his equites were able to reach the camp within hours. He was perched on a horse, surrounded by his officers and bodygaurds. The crisp Aegyptian sun was shining down on him as he addressed his officers.*
"You will simply take the cavalry, ride into the camp, and kill or burn everything and everyone. Take the legionaries and skirmishers to head off anyone who escapes, no survivors."
*Caesar's orders were carried out, and no one was left alive. Ptolemy himself was left in a puddle of his own blood, with the camp around him burning. Caesar and his men returned to Alexandria, triumphant once again.*
(Sorry, I just wanted to make this short and sweet, to get on with furture rping.)
